The human being has the power to make heroic and benevolent acts for the sake of mankind and of all living, but unfortunately this capacity too many times it twists and cobra a nuance vile, bloody and infamous.
Today i encountered a story that reflects once again the unpleasant action of the people and, like many, to read has seized me a sense of gloom and impotence very large.
Each spring, the sea that bathes the coasts of the Faeroe Islands in Denmark, stained with blood by a pure act of brutality and cruelty.
Young people from the island are responsible for killing a hundred docile and curious dolphins pilot whales (endangered species) that at that time of year usually as close to the coasts.
While this case is not the spirit of the atrocities carried out by Japan, Norway, Iceland and many other countries that are considered the right of violating every living being, importándoles very little the preservation of the species threatened with extinction and the environmental balance. Nor is justifiable.
The economy of the Faroe Islands by its geography is mainly based on the export and use of the meat of this cetacean but this does not give rise to the barbarism and brutality of the massacre nor to the free exploitation of an animal at risk. A fact very painful that must find early solution.
